General Motors (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned enterprise established by General Motors in Shanghai. It has all of GM’s local employees in China and is an investor in GM’s joint ventures in China. Gm China Foresight Technology Research Center is the most comprehensive foresight technology research institution in the domestic automobile industry. It consists of GM China Research and Development, Forward-looking Design, Vehicle Engineering Laboratory, Advanced Powertrain Engineering Laboratory and Onstar Laboratories. As part of GM’s global R&D, engineering and design system, the center will be dedicated to providing technology development solutions for GM in China and around the world, and providing technical innovation support for the realization of GM’s vision.
